Application received

Thanks — I'll read this myself.

One more thing before you close this tab. Book your call below — I only open a few slots a week around the chair, and they go quickly.

01

Pick a time

Forty-five minutes, on Zoom. If I read your application and it isn't a fit, I'll email you before the call rather than waste your time — you won't get ghosted either way.

45-minute slots · 3 per day max · 24-hour minimum notice · email + SMS reminders on.

02

Watch this before we talk

Four minutes. What the call is, what it isn't, and what to have in front of you. Shot on a phone in the shop — it does more for show rate than any reminder email, because it makes the call feel like an appointment with a person rather than a slot in a calendar.

03

Bring three numbers

Have these in front of you when we talk. People who go and find them before the call show up at a much higher rate — and the call is far more useful when we're looking at real figures instead of guessing.

  • What you charge for a cut, and for a beard
  • Roughly how many clients you see in a normal week
  • What you actually took home last month
04

What happens on the call

It's a conversation, not a pitch. I'll ask about your book, your prices and your numbers, and I'll show you where the gap is in your own business — you'll get something useful out of it whether or not you join.

Then I'll tell you straight whether I think I can help. If I can't, I'll say so on the call and point you somewhere better. I've got a shop to run — I don't need to talk anybody into this.
